Washougal River-Columbia River Gorge: Washington Landscape Photography

Photo taken of the Washougal River and the Washougal River Railroad Bridge. Photo was taken on Mother's Day 2010. A bright, sunny, and still day as evident in the trees reflected off the water as the river flows lazily around the bend. The river separates the towns of Washougal and Camas, Washington on the west end of the Columbia River Gorge. The bridge opened in 1908 as part of the Spokane, Portland, and Seattle Railway. The bridge linked the two towns from 1908 to 2016 when it was dismantled and replaced by a new bridge. This photo was taken six years before the bridge's demise making it somewhat of a rare photo. Hang this piece of history on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom. Also perfect to make a postcard out of.
