Dangerous Curves Ahead-John Day Fossil Beds: Eastern Oregon Landscape Photography

Photo of Highway 19 as it winds it's way through the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in eastern Oregon. The photo was taken looking south on Highway 19 around a blind and sharp left-hand corner. This is just south of the town of Fossil near the Prairie Ranch. The bright blue sky and the pine trees covering the hillside combine with the green and brown colors of the late spring to make this photo beautiful. For those of you who never get the chance to drive this stretch of road but like the way this picture looks, buy it, frame it, and hang it on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom for you and your family to enjoy.
