Crooked River Bridge-Crooked River Canyon: Central Oregon Landscape Photography

Photo of both the historic old Crooked River High Bridge (in front) and the new Rex T Barber Veteran Memorial Bridge (in back). The old bridge in front is the original Highway 97 bridge and was designed by famous civil engineer Conde McCullough and was completed in 1926. Highway 97 has been re-routed and now goes across the new bridge, which it was completed in 2000. This photo was taken from Peter Skene Ogden State Scenic Viewpoint just to the south west, looking north east at both bridges. The bridges are offset just a little so you get an interesting perspective of the overlapping symmetry of both sets of arches. Frame this picture and hang it on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom, or use it to make a postcard out of.
