Abandoned Roadside Store-Shaniko: Oregon Ghost Towns
Photo of an old abandoned store in the ghost town of Shaniko, Oregon. Judging by the writing on the roof, this place sold ceramic arts and crafts as well as other little odds and end artifacts for passers by. This building is on Highway 97 on the west end of town as you can see the back of the highway signs on the right side of the photo. This building sits next to the vintage Texaco gas station that is currently featured in one of my other listings: Vintage Texaco Gas Station. When this picture was taken, this building had definitely seen better days as evident by severe weathering and the front wall is completely gone with only a makeshift 2x4 brace to keep it from blowing over in the heavy Central Oregon winds. Perfect blue sky at the top of the picture fading slowly to grey as the clouds move in towards the bottom of the photo. Note the white puffy clouds that look as if they are emanating off of the highway in the background. This photo was taken 13 years ago. The building has since been remodeled, turned into a home, and looks nothing like this today. Hang this rare photo on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom, or any other place you so desire.
See additional images for mockup frame ideas and detailed information about how my photos are printed and the different options that are available for my photos. If you want a different size, different finish, or different paper than what I offer in my listing, feel free to reach out to me. I work with a printing company to print my photos and if they are not able to print specifically what you want to have printed, I will work with you to figure out a solution to satisfy all parities involved.
