The Blue Basin-John Day Fossil Beds: Eastern Oregon Landscape Photography

Photo of the Blue Basin taken from the Foree Picnic and Recreation Area. The Blue Basin is part of the Sheep Rock Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in eastern Oregon. This photo was taken in June of 2012 before the hot summer months had a chance to dry everything out. The hills were a golden brown with a partly cloudy-partly sunny sky for contrast. Frame this picture and hang it on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom.
