Inner Downtown Portland: Oregon Scenic Vistas

Photo taken of the city of Portland. This is a close up photo of the city as it shows Burnside Street leading up to the U.S. Bancorp Tower (the big tower on the left) and then to the Burnside Bridge beyond. Notice how the streets in the foreground are laid out in a V-shape forming the triangular shaped buildings you see south of Burnside Street (the main street through downtown). This is due to early independant land claims, separate townsites on the north and south, and orientation to the Willamette River. This photo was taken from Pittock Mansion. Perfect to hang on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom.
