Christmas in the Grotto: Nativity Scene with Woman-Portland, Oregon

The Grotto is both an outdoor Catholic altar and a serene woodland sanctuary located in Northeast Portland, that features 62 acres of botanical gardens and chapels for introspection. The nativity scene in this photo is at the base of a 110 foot cliff. The nativity scene itself is recessed back into a cave that was carved into the wall of the cliff. It sits on a stone base with the candles behind it reflecting off the back of the cave. What makes this photo interesting (atleast to me) is there is a young woman up there at the base of the nativity scene with her back to me as I was taking the photo. Everything around the nativity scene is lit up with candles but the place where the woman is standing is dark, so she casts this dark shadow over the base of the scene itself. Hang this picture on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom.
