Abandoned Wilson Gas Station and Cafe in Kent: Oregon Ghost Towns
Photo of the old abandoned Wilson Gas Station and Cafe in the ghost town of Kent, Oregon. The building is on U.S. Highway 97 and was at one time a roadside stop for travelers and is about halfway between the cities of Madras and Biggs Junction. Beautiful blue sky with a few clouds and haze for contrast. The building is in serious need of repair as the only part in decent condition is the old Orange Crush sign hanging from the roof. The gas pumps are still there, but since this photo was taken, the outside panels have been removed and most of the internal mechanical parts likely stolen. In spite of all that, the building in this photograph looms as a shiny beacon over the shaded highway. Hang this rare photo on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom, or any other place you so desire.
