Abandoned Farm-Columbia River Gorge: Oregon Landscape Photography

Photo taken of an old rustic-abandoned barn and farmhouse somewhere on the east side of the Columbia Gorge. Reminiscent of a simpler time before smartphones, computers, TV's, electricity, hot running water, and most of the creature comfort amenities that are taken for granted in today's hustle culture. Notice how the house was built behind a small hill to give it shelter from the cold east winds in the winter and shade from the hot eastern Oregon sun in the summer. Living here must of have been brutal in the winter, hot in the summer, but also must have had a very serene and quiet feel with the surrounding hills and mountains there to protect you. This is the perfect picture to hang on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom.
