A Sign of the Times: Abandoned Store in Ghost Town in Oregon

Photo of an old abandoned store in the ghost town of Kent, Oregon. The building was on 2nd Street which is the main street of the town, so it was either a general store or maybe even a community center. Not much is known about it. This photo of the dilapidated old building was taken back in 2011. Unfortunately, the building has since been demolished in favor of a Cell Tower, and is no longer standing. If fact if you were to look at this site today, you would see no evidence that a building, a store, a community, or a way of life ever existed. This photo has a beautiful blue sky, but note the gathering of dark clouds over the building. Perhaps a foreshadowing of the building's ominous future, like circling buzzards waiting for the impending death. Hang this rare photo on the wall in your living room, office, hallway or bedroom, or any other place you so desire.
